great basic and simple

I have had other top brand coffee makers before and I personally like this one. the hot plate hasn't chipped or scratched. it's basic on/off which is all I need. the only thing I don't like is the warranty if needing to use. manufacture mainstays/Walmart won't honor it if past 90 days even thought manual indicates 1 year and to return it instore. .

Great for it value

I use this for brewing tea for Ice Tea. It is cheaper than the ones made for Ice Tea and works great. Just add the tea bags to the where the coffee goes, no filter needed. It is easy to clean also.
