great basic and simple

I have had other top brand coffee makers before and I personally like this one. the hot plate hasn't chipped or scratched. it's basic on/off which is all I need. the only thing I don't like is the warranty if needing to use. manufacture mainstays/Walmart won't honor it if past 90 days even thought manual indicates 1 year and to return it instore. .
