These are a not a summer weight- more of a transition to fall, which I like. They ran a little longer on me- so 27 inches felt more like 30. I bought both colors- the darker and this one and I liked this one better. Not too wide leg but not skinny

The quality of these jeans is fabulous, the wash is really nice, and the style is exactly what I was looking for, the only issue with the jeans is the sizing is so off! I had to go to a size 0....not kidding... and they fit like a normal size 6 which is what I wear in most jeans 5'9 137lbs. So yes, great jeans and the price is awesome but just know you will need to order down 1, 2, or maybe 3 sizes smaller than your regular jean size. They won't shrink much from washing either so do not think you can get the right size by washing and drying, as that won't be the case. Walmart has been doing a great job the past few years with clothing style and quality.
