no I tell you these slippers are beyond comfortable they are soft and warm they're amazing now it does have a little opening in the back with a strap for the heel but you can't even tell the difference really when you have a mom cuz they're so soft and warm and fuzzy the inside is like a memory foam now I wear a nine and a half and I have like what I like to call Long finger toes and it was just enough room for me so if you have a little wider foot or if you think you're just a little bit bigger I would go up one size just to give you a little bit more room I like a snug fit so these were perfect and I have good tread at the bottom for the price of these this is an amazing slipper..
