Great for Gaming. Great Quality and Graphics

Pro: I love the keyboard and there are many ways to change the light settings (ripple, breathing, rainbow, etc.). The display quality is very clear and the graphics are amazing. I can basically play with ultra high settings on GTA 5, Fortnite, and Warzone without any lag. Any lag would be a wifi issue. I tested this laptop on the Canirunit website and passed 98% of all games. Im talking not the minimum, but the recommended as well. You can just tell this laptop is extremely powerful. I have been using this laptop for about a month now. Cons: The laptop seems to exert its full potential when the charger is plugged in. When it is not plugged in, I have to change the graphic and fps settings to around 60 to play or else it lags hella. Battery is also a minor problem but it makes sense since its a laptop with an rtx2060 graphics card and a cooling pad that you most likely need if you are going to use it for serious gaming. I am yet still skeptical about this computer due to the lack of customer service and since it was most likely cheaply made yet still powerful, problems may arise in the future, but I will be my trust in God and update if anything does happen. Overall I like this laptop and do recommend getting you yourself one.

The jury is still out, but so far I'm liking it.

Hey, this laptop is everything that you would expect to pay a lot more for. NVME 1 GB drive, 16 gb DDR4 2667 ram, and the Intel 9th generation cpu just for starters. Of course, out of the box, I was not likeing the keyboard as the lettering on the keys is a dark grey om black keys, so you gotta use the RGB backlights for the keys, Wave mode is the best setting. Then I spent over 2 hours to get apps and updates installed. Windows 10 Home was version 1903, I updated to 1909. Got my Microsoft apps installed and installed Office 2019 Pro. This thing gets hot with fans in standard mode, and in gaming mode the fans are loud, but temperatures came down a bunch.

Quality Laptop For A Walmart Price.

Alright strap in because this is going to be a long review. First off I would like to say that I upgraded to this laptop from a 5 year old MSI GE62 with an i7 and 960M. I had a lot of issues with that laptop and after that experience I decided to never buy MSI again. Off the top of my head the CPU temp's would hit 90C and the keyboard would get extremely hot, it would bluescreen (crash) when playing CPU intensive games and overall was a pain for me to game with. I decided to go with the EVOO 17" because of the above problems and I am completely shocked with this laptop. I have had it for about two weeks now and it has consistently maintained temps below 80C no matter what game I am playing. The keyboard stays cool all the time because the fans actually pull air in from both the WASD area and num pad, and that is actually one of my favorite features. The 144hz display runs flawlessly and this laptop can run almost everything at above 60 frames with maximum settings. I have played GTA V, Planetside 2, Total War: Three Kingdoms, Apex Legends, and the Valorant beta with no problems whatsoever. In some FPS games obviously you will need to turn down graphics to medium and some to low if you want to consistently run above 144 but it is barely noticeable. Battery Life on this laptop is great for a gaming computer, and I have had limited testing so far but when I have carried it around it seems to get about 3 hours off of a full charge with moderate use. I have not tested gaming on battery power but you can probably get at least an hour and a half out of it and I don't think you'll find a laptop that will do much better at this price point. The size is excellent as well, my 15" MSI would barely fit in my backpack so I was afraid that because this was a 17" it would be slightly too big, but when directly comparing them this is actually the same size. It's not as small as a Razer blade but this laptop is still pretty thin. Now my only complaints about this laptop are that the screen can get dirty quickly, literally overnight in some cases. This is easily fixable if you just clean it when you need to but it is something to keep in mind. The keyboard takes a little bit of getting used to, I'm not sure if this is because it is mechanical or the shape of the buttons but I am able to comfortably type for the most part now. Finally because they incorporated the cooling into the sides of the laptop my mouse hand gets warm air blown onto it pretty much the entire time I'm gaming. This isn't really that bad but it is something to know before you buy because I didn't really think about it before. Honestly it is a good thing for me because my right hand would get cold when gaming on my old laptop and now it stays warm but not sweaty. TL;DR This laptop is a fantastic deal if you get it on rollback and even at its full price. It has a premium feel and looks less "gamery" than most. It performs great, I haven't had any problems, and I would definitely recommend it.
