These are some nice sweatpants they do have a drawstring that is connected in the middle which is kind of frustrating for when adjusting for size, but they are nice pants. There are a couple of details that must be observed. They must be washed alone and dried alone the first time they are laundered. I bought these for my husband at his request. First of all, he's at that age that doesn't take change well. Fruit of the Loom was what he's warn for decades and what he wanted as a replacement to his old well-worn sweatpants. He liked the fit without hesitation. He referred to the material as "a little thin". I agree, they probably are thinner, but in part that is the "Ever Soft" fleece. He'll adjust (fingers crossed). I think the softness will make them more comfortable and still warm as loungewear in the cooler weather.
