my granddaughter Is 2yrs old and this is the perfect size/bar height for her. I'd say this would work well for kids age 2-4 yrs old. it's sturdy, metal frame takes worry away about the item coming apart or breaking. the springs are easy to install as long as you do as it says, going in a equal pattern to ensure all springs have equal tension. the cover for it works just fine, but as a grandmother I would have preferred a little more patting in it, it's sufficient though.
