I knew what it looked like from the picture, but was surprised at the simple look of it right out of the box, and surprised, after giving it a few days out on the counter, that I really liked it in person (the size yet minimalist, the simple pure white, the pure "here's soap" statement). So I filled one up, began using it, and then I fell in love with it! I've got one at the kitchen sink and one at a bathroom sink. They hold a lot and are so easy to fill!! No more "aaargh it's almost empty, I will soon have to fill it again, this is always annoying." And it takes just an effortless press to get soap and to get the precise amount you want. It took very little time to realize that these are great because they're easily functional and they blend well. Also, they're holding up fine, and I am not surprised. (Note: Mine didn't come with instructions. I twisted, I turned, and nothing happened. That's because they are simple: just gently pull off the top, fill it, and put the top back on.)
