I have to concur with other reviewers that this is definitely non-slip. As others have said, I, too, needed a mat to use in a non-slip tub (which isn't all that non-slip!). Other mats I have tried just won't stick to the tub and tend to slip around easily. Not this mat!! It stays where you put it. Of course, it's easy to pick up and move, but it will not move by scooching it with your foot. So, if your foot tries to make a "slipping" movement as you are getting in or out, this mat will not slip. It's a bit short (the larger size was just too long for my use), but even if only half of your foot is on the mat, you won't slip. Have only used it a week, and it is still mildew-free, so can't attest to more long-term usage and keeping it clean, etc., but it's definitely worth a try!

This is the best bathmat I have ever had. I saw an online recommendation for the mat as a good option for seniors. The mat is non slip and drains well. A couple of things to mention, make sure to rinse the mat before stepping on the beginning, the mat is a loofah and can be a little rough. The other is, after showering, rinse the mat and hang over the edge of tub to dry, every time otherwise it will get moldy (loofa side down). Bleach bath cleaner will clean it if this occurs. I did buy the longer length to butt up to the drain and up the back a little.
