Metabo HPT 18V Framing Nailer Kit, 3-1/2-In, NR1890DRA

Let me start by saying that I have 2 trucks loaded with Dewalt tools. When they developed the 20v lineup, I was all in! However over the years I realized their pneumatic guns and sawzall are cheaply made. I've replaced 7 pneumatic siding nailers and over 15 reciprocating saws. They are expensive but my batteries are all Dewalt so I just deal with replacing them on a fairly regular basis. Recently my Metabo NV65AH2 was stolen from my truck. I went online and bought a replacement which also came with a free impact gun and an extra 36v battery that took 2 months to arrive but it was worth it. I was very impressed with the quality of the impact gun and how it felt sturdy and comfortable in my hand. So as usual my Dewalt framing nailer broke. It lasted 3 months so I got more out of it than usual. So I see this Metabo framing nailer. It came with 2 36 volt batteries. My first day using it was so much fun. I felt like Thor yielding his hammer while everyone sat and watched me in awe! I was so excited to use this gun for the first time. It definitely did not disappoint me! It fits like a glove and has tons of power. I was blasting through hardwoods like butter. I've fired thousands of nails already and hasn't jammed once. This gun is a legit game changer for me. No cords, no jamming, and with a lifetime warranty, no more annual replacement worries. Here's a recap. 1. You feel like a Demi god when holding it. 2. Your crew will be jealous 3. Haters will finally shut up. 4. Customers will brag to their neighbors and that will generate new business! 5. You'll have to sign your signature from yellow and red guns from your new fans. 6. Lastly you will be 6” taller after your first night of sleep. In all seriousness, this gun is awesome! It's the best purchase I've made in years. You will fall in love with the quality and the feeling you get when it's pulled from the bag.

Used for framing houses. Building stairs in particular. Simply wonderful. A pleasure to use. Sinks 3 1/4, 2 1/2, and concrete spikes with ease. Two small issues: i) the magazine holds only one rack of 3 1/4 spikes and reloads are a constant bother, ii) the blinking light comes on frequently if you do not press fully down on the nose before pulling the trigger causing a delayed restart. Small issues that are more to do with user familiarity than design flaws. Hot tip: buy this nail gun and then buy it again. Note: do be more careful with this treasure than than you would be with the metal/alloy nail guns as it cannot sustain the same heavy blows/drops as those classic shooters.
