great crabbing rod, very strong!

these rods are great for crab snaring. im throwing at least 12 oz of weight with bait included, and they feel plenty strong to handle it. I will be ordering several more as you can run 3 sets of gear per person in my home state.

Great rod. Short delay due to USPS.

Excellent rod for a good price less than my local tackle store which was sold out. Could not find this rod locally at any stores so I took a chance to buy this online from Walmart. The rod arrived about a week late, which was due to some issue with USPS and not the seller. Interestingly it was packed assembled 12 ft long with both pieces connected with brown packaging paper wrapped around it. Thankfully, it arrived in like new condition with no broken tip guide that someone else experienced. I was a bit concerned about the length of the butt, which was about 3" longer than my Okuma 1202 MHS. Overall, the rod performed well however casting 9.6 oz snares bait from the pier. I did have to stretch a bit when reeling in but it wasn't a big deal.

Rod Received with deep scratches

Rod received with deep scratches throughout the blank. I'd buy from a different seller. Took pics of a couple but there's at least 8 deep scratches.
