Just what I needed

After being unable to replace my laptop's embedded keyboard, I bought this item so I could use the PC. It works great via USB and is small enough to carry with me when I need to use the computer in locations outside my home.

Fits and works very well

The key board on my backup HP laptop stopped working. I went through many tests and finally found a place where it said the devise no longer works. It is not my main laptop so I was using the on screen keyboard for the few things I wanted to type .This small external key board fits right over the laptop key board and works fine with the USB cord. I think it would be very good except all of a sudden right after I started using the external keyboard the laptop keyboard started working? Walmart has a very good return policy, so after a month or so, if the internal keyboard keeps working, I will bring the external keyboard back.
