I liked the design where the leg adjustments are at the top (inverted) from the other brands. The internal spikes on the leg bottoms is a nice addition, it was a little more than I wanted to pay but Walmart had the better deal than the well known competitor and you don't have to be a paid member to get fast free shipping!

Great tripod for the money. Super happy with my purchase. Light weight. Quick set up. Easy and fast leg adjustment. Due to a back and arm injury most all of my shooting is done from a rest. Have used this out to 600 yards standing sitting and prone. If I lost or broke it I'd buy another with out hesitation

You won't regret it.

I picked this up for $244 after taxes. I'm kicking myself for not getting two as the price has not been back down since 12/25. I've had several of Bogs top tripods and shot off a buddies $1200 and this thing is right up there with the top brands at a way better price. It's very stable with heavier rifles and great for spotting scope. The long leg options work very well in steep, and rocky ground, and having the ability to adjust the legs from the top is the only way to go. Highly recommend for shooting off of and using for spotting. I used my BOG clamp/saddles to start with but eventually bought a Fanaue clamp, which I don't see any quality/function difference there. The ball head has held up very well and this thing bounces around the back of my filthy side x side. Even at the $300 mark it's worth it, but hopefully we'll see the price come back down. I'll be getting another, don't waste your $ on Bog, this has been a great tripod!
