This hat is lightweight and breathable. It will fit larger head sizes well. The hat size is not adjustable and it is fairly large, so it probably wouldn't work for a smaller sized head (small ladies and children), however it does have an adjustable chin strap with a cinch. This is good to hold the hat on in case of wind. The screen is good quality and the middle ring keeps some distance between you and the screen, further preventing bites and stings. The very bottom is wide enough to fit just over the top of the shoulders and it has a cinch on it as well. The screen has a zipper around the mouth area for drinking or eating, but if you don't want it in your way, you can turn the hat around, since the hat opening is circular. I plan on using this when I do yard work during the time that mosquitoes are out. It will keep your head protected from bites and stings. It would be great for using during fishing as well.
