so glad i waited and did my research to buy this set. the bowls are not heavy but sturdy and light.They ate stackable n lids close tight. The size is great, works for meat marination, cake mixes and the stainless steel colander is great for straining rice and fruits. This is the best colander I've ever had! I love the gyroscope aspect, so your food never falls out when you're discarding the liquid in the bowl! The holes in the actual colander are the perfect size, everything in the set seems very sturdy and good quality, and the interchangeable discs that fit in the lid for grating are super sharp, and fit very well and don't feel like they'll slip easily. My only complaint is that the lid doesn't fit very tightly on the bowl (but it does fit perfectly, so as long as you don't toss the bowl around, it's fine), but that could just be a defect in the one I got, and I wish that the actual colander was just a little bit bigger. Still highly recommend!
