This a beautiful decanter. In addition to being functional

The thickness of the glass tells you it's not fine crystal, but it's not clunky either. (I bought it as a replacement for fine crystal, which I broke by just bumping against the top with the neck of the bottle). Very wide base allows for good air exposure of the wine (but also note it's a rather large decanter for storage). Highly recommend buying it with Metrokane Wine Shower Funnel with Strainer. Strainer sits nicely in the spout, aerates, and catches any sediment. Have used the pairing with this year's cheap wines and also better wines that were 10 yrs old. Very pleased with the results! Decanter very easy to rinse out (do it right away) and easier disposal of sediment. Will use it for every bottle of wine.

Does what I want

Loving this decanter, use it almost every night! This is the second one I purchased (2 homes)! I would definitely recommend this decanter. The one we had prior to this one, was not as easy to pour from. Thank you for designing a user friendly decanter!!!
