Black Adirondack Chair

So far this black Adirondack chair is meeting my expectations in price and quality. It isn’t an Adirondack chair made of wood. It looks like it’s made of wood but it is made of plastic. The chair is heavy enough that it shouldn’t blow away during one of our crazy windstorms that we experience fairly often in West Texas. I was happy with the 1st Adirondack chair so in approximately 10 days I purchased a 2nd Adirondack chair, same brand (KINGYES Folding HDPE Adirondack Chair All-Weather…). However, the 2nd Adirondack chair came with a slightly different set of tools and the backrest doesn’t have the same incline as the 1st even though they are the same product. The shade of black is the same. I decided to keep both Adirondack chairs because so far I like them. I’m willing to overlook the slight difference in the incline of the backrest.

They are actually nicer than I expected. Very sturdy and a good quality. A lot of people would say the color is burgundy. I like it because it matches the stain on one of my outbuildings almost perfectly. The assembly process I thought was going to kill me. Let’s start by saying I am really good at putting things together. In fact, I love it. I grab up the box 1st and want to put everything together that everybody ever orders. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. They are rather vague. The drawings aren’t helpful. Adding to the difficulty, the little thing that all the bolts and nuts come is labeled awkwardly. When you flip it over on the backside to open, you can’t tell what you’re getting. After you open one compartment and flip it back over to see the label, everything falls out. There are several different lengths of bolts so it is imperative that you use the proper one or it just won’t work. It is perfectly doable to use the tools that are supplied. The Alan wrench with the little handle is fantastic. But do yourself a favor and go get a real wrench and socket and drill if you have them available. The best advice on the instructions is to not tighten everything down until you get it all put together. You will appreciate the maneuverability that the looseness offers.
