Great Socks! Most all sock manufacturers have changed the socks that my family and I have loved for years by replacing 100% cotton with acrylic and polyester. Even socks with the word 'COTTON' in their title or listing details are no longer made of cotton?! As a result, I have continued to search for high-cotton-content socks and have tried almost every pair available on various websites. Diabetic Socks | Men and Women | Over the Calf | Knee-High Cotton Socks Loose Fit | 4 Pairs | Actual Color: Black 90% Cotton 7% Polyester 3% Elasthane I was / am happily surprised with these socks! While I would prefer 97% Cotton 3% Esathane, 90% cotton is pretty close. I wanted oversized, slouchy, over-the-knee socks with a cozy feel, high cotton content, in solid black, which can be worn with boots...and that is precisely what these are! The listing says "over the calf", but they are over-the-knee for me (I'm 5'6" and wear women's 7.5 in shoes / boots). I purchased size large because I wanted a loose and slouchy fit. Ultra-stretchy. Very comfortable. Affordable. I love them so much that I placed a second order within a couple of days of my first purchase, and I'm planning to order a few pairs for holiday gifts. Highly Recommend!

I needed very stretchy, tall, comfortable socks to wear under a walking boot. I got two different kinds, and miraculously, they're both great! These are about half the price of the other ones I got, and they're great! I needed socks I could easily and painlessly get on over my swollen ankle, and these are perfect. They don't squeeze or compress anything, just stretch like whoa. Even after all day being squished in the boot, they're very comfortable.
