These are not heavy duty shelves, but perfect for our needs... holding supplies for a short term rental unit. Although the shelf boards are thin they have a metal support in the middle of the shelf that makes them very stable.. Assembly was easy. They even included a small hammer to knock rails into place and a pair of gloves. Also included is hardware if you want to fasten it to wall. You can build one tall shelf or two half size shelves. If you build two shelves you can lock them together for stability.

I absolutely LOVE this metal shelf. It was ridiculously easy to put together — like “no man, no YouTube tutorial, no swearing required” easy. 💅 They did include the cutest little plastic hammer to tap the pegs into place… which was adorable. And completely useless. It felt like something from a toddler's tool set. Good thing I'm a woman who owns a real hammer. Problem solved in 30 seconds. The metal frame is super sturdy and solid. The wood shelves are basic particle board — not luxury hardwood vibes — but they do the job just fine for now. I may eventually upgrade to thicker wood so I can load it up like I'm stocking for the apocalypse. But as-is? It holds up great. I will say, I'd be cautious about spilling water or anything liquid on the shelves unless you seal them first. Particle board and puddles are not best friends. Overall though? This shelf feels like it will outlive my husband, the dog, and possibly civilization. It looks great, works in the kitchen or garage, and is 100% worth every penny. I'll definitely be buying more. Strong, dependable, easy to assemble — basically the kind of support system we all deserve. 😉
