I was looking for a simplified way to clean up the kitchen and organize all the extra cookware we've accumulated lately. This unit is great for any type of clutter you're looking to clear out. The shelves are adjustable, which is a huge plus because you can set the height to exactly what you need. It has a decent weight rating; while I'm not sure if it would truly hold up to 1200 lbs, it definitely holds everything I need it to. As long as you anchor it to the wall, it's quite sturdy, though even without the anchors, it's not bad at all.
