"Nestle Carnation Instant Non-Fat Dry Milk, Vitamin D added, Cooking Milk, Shelf Milk 9.625 oz" is my preferred dry milk powder. I choose this one in particular because it's packaged in a plastic container with a plastic lid that fully closes. Even though it probably costs the company a couple extra pennies, it makes a huge difference in terms of keeping the product fresh %26 free from bugs/insects. Thank you Nestle for caring about your customers! For those of us who live without refrigerators, this dry milk powder is a wonderful way of ensuring we get calcuim as a regular part of our diet. Personal disclaimer: For those humans who are lactose intolerant or sensitive to dairy products...this Is milk and will cause major issues. The taste of this product is slightly sweet %26 fairly tasty for reconstituted milk. I also like that it is non-fat! I put a serving or two in a bit of bottled water, shake it vigerously for about 30 seconds and let it sit for about an hour. I've never had an issue with it, even when it occasionally sits on the ground for several hours (as long as it's not during summer) before it's consumed. Good stuff!

I keep this powdered milk on hand and use it for cooking and coffee and when I want a big glass of cold milk. It taste great. It's also says that it is fat free and low calories.
