I love this waffle iron! It is ceramic (healthy) and you can't make a bad waffle with it. Very forgiving and comes out perfect each time. I wish the plates came off to clean but it wipes well with a damp cloth after. Would definitely recommend!

The first great feature of this waffle maker is that it can be put on its end, standing upright. This takes less space on the counter top or cabinet. It is light weight unlike my old, very heavy one. The stainless steel construction will likely help it last a long time. The waffles cook quickly , browned nicely and come out of the maker easily. Great value for this item! Good gift for lovers of Belgian waffles.

Great alternative to Dangerous Non-Stick Coatings

I was determined to find a ceramic waffle maker versus one made with lots of harmful materials. This one is perfect. You do have to make sure that your batter has some type of oil in it so it doesn't stick, but most all recipes call for that.
