Warm, wind and rain proof.

I am a slender 4'11" and ordered a medium as I wanted room for a vest underneath. It fits well and the hood, when not used, protects my neck with warmth and covers my hat when needed to be used. I would probably need a scarf around the neck if I did not have my hat on when using the hood. There two extra snaps to protect my neck from the wind. You can either snap or zip the coast shut. I use only the snaps so far. I am so glad that it is rainproof on my two daily walks during this winter rainy season on the coast of Oregon.
