Expensive but reassuringly does an outstanding job

Purchased this item just after Xmas and had quickly become the best purchase we have made in 2024. It is very simple to set up and use and even simpler to clean post wash. We have always used an electric steam mop on our hard floors but reality is they really don't lift the dirt from the floor and just move it around a lot and this became obvious with the colour of the water in the Dyson after 2 consecutive washes. It is a very expensive item compared to most of the competition but having already spent a few hundred pounds on two steam mops we decided to go with the pricier option and just wish we had done so in first place!!

Amazing in Every Way!

My wife and me bought the G1 and are so happy we did. Our floors are tremendously clean and the ease of use is amazing. The machine glides over the floors and picks up an amazing amount of material. It is well engineered and the self cleaning mode is great. When needed, the machine is easy to remove parts and perform a deep clean.

Good but not great

Like anything with liquids, it's all a bit sloppy and wet around. It does a good job but not great. I don't think it has enough friction with the floor to clean it really good. Overall ok, we're keeping it.
