The last time I wore a pair of denim overalls was when I was six years old, and I'm happy to say that my first pair in 29 years was worth every penny! These overalls are so cute! They're a nice heavyweight denim material. The metal clasps and buttons are all sturdy as well. I like the wide leg design, but they are really wide so you may want to take them in if you have thin legs. I usually wear a size 6-8 in pants, but I think a small would be a better fit than the medium in these. Unfortunately they're out of smalls online. In the photos I'm wearing the x-small I got for my teen, and had to let the straps all the way out because they're a little tight. I'm 5'3” with short legs, so the length is a little long, which is typical for me. They'll be easy to shorten though because they have a nice wide hem. I'm going to get smalls as soon as they're back in stock. Don't hesitate to get these if they have your size.
