Very soft fabric and baby seems comfortable. A little heavier than some car seats but not significantly. I love the canopy for blocking the sun but promoting airflow. This car seat feels extremely study and safe, which gives me peace of mind, and I love that they don't use flame retardants. Well worth every penny!

For my 7th Baby - Amazing Features!!

I received this car seat right before my seventh baby was born. I have tried many car seats over the past 17 years and this is by far the best one I have ever used. It is very padded, but yet protective for my newborn. It even has cushy little strap pads that stay where you put them. I was completely in awe of how many bells and whistles it has! One of my favorites is that the visor has a zipper on it where a seat cover unfolds and you can snap it to the side of the car seat. That cover is light enough that my baby has plenty of air and I can see them through the mesh parts. This eliminates having to always have a car seat cover on hand. There is also a neat little storage box on the front of the base where I can store a couple diapers and wipes for those times I forget the diaper bag! The base is the easiest one I have ever clipped in. The ‘one strap tightener' made it so fast to secure it, and the built in level and button to move the seat also made it a breeze to maneuver. I can't say enough good things about this car seat and wish I could give it 10 stars!!
