Best value if you can do some adjustments!

Best value! If you can: 1. Adjust the drop bar and hand bar position. The bike I got had a wired position and cause numbness in hand. 2. Mechanical brake is good if you change the rear cable from inter to half internal, like change cable out in the hole under BB. Current internal cable is a disaster for mechanical disk brake. Basically the default internal cable make rear brake so hard and almost useless. 3. Apply some oil in the fork the bearing. Walmart assemblies does not have any oil there. 4. All parts in the bike is decent, even though unbranded. 5. Tire is good. Low rolling resistance. Conclusion: you have to know how to do some adjustments. Such as disk brake pad position, hand bar, drop bar. Then you will have a $1000 value bike. If you cannot, do not buy it. Go to a bike shop.

Best bang for your buck you can find.

Had a G.1, but upgraded immediately when the G.2 dropped. Genuinely a fantastic bike for the price. Of course I wish the entire drivetrain was Microshift Sword and that it had hydraulic brakes… but for the price, you can't really ask for a better deal. Great build quality, simple to put together, awesome to ride, and just an overall great bike. Does phenomenally well on gravel or the road, I have put a couple hundred miles on this bike in the last few months… highly recommend!

My Wife Took My G1….So I Got the new ozark g.2

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife got me the Ozark Trail G.2 Rebel as a Father's Day gift, and I have to say… I'm honestly impressed. She's taking over my Ozark G1 now, so it worked out perfectly — his and hers gravel bikes 😂 For the price, the G2 Rebel gives you a lot of bike. You're getting a carbon fork, thru-axles, Microshift Sword drivetrain, 10-speed 11-48T cassette, 42T narrow-wide chainring, Tektro mechanical disc brakes, Kenda 700x40c tires, and an advertised weight around 22.9 lbs. For an entry-level gravel bike, that's a pretty strong spec list. What I like most is that it feels like a better long-term platform if you're planning to ride more, get into gravel biking, and maybe upgrade later. The thru-axles and drivetrain make it feel more modern compared to a lot of budget gravel bikes. Of course, since this is still an online/Walmart bike, I'd recommend checking the brakes, shifting, bolts, tire pressure, and wheel alignment before putting serious miles on it. If you're not comfortable doing that yourself, bring it to a local bike shop for a tune-up. It's worth it for peace of mind. Overall, I'm really happy with the Ozark Trail G.2 Rebel. Great Father's Day gift, great value, and a solid option for anyone who wants to get into gravel biking without spending thousands. Quick note on sizing: I'm 5'5, so I ordered the small frame just like my G1. The small felt like the safer choice for me because reach and standover height matter a lot, especially on a drop bar gravel bike. Anyone else here riding the G2 Rebel yet? What upgrades are you planning first?
