I use this mat in my dog wash station which is a large sink in my utility room. It keeps the dogs from slipping when I wash them and water drains easily through it. it is non slip, when most bath mats get shampoo on them after washing hair they do become slippery but this one doesn't and it does feel a little rough texture on feet but that's what makes it safer and non slip, does what it says it will do, non slip

It was the perfect size to cut in half and use in my step-in tub, giving me a spare when one is in the laundry. However, it keeps floating up in the bath water. Would be perfect for the shower, as described. Wish I could get it to stay on the bottom of the tub. Nice loofah surface.
