This bright little mat is described for use outside the bath/shower but it's non slip under side works great IN the shower. It's much more substantial than most shower mats and I can clean my feet bottoms on the textured topside without having to bend, which is a big plus for elders.

This is the best bathmat

This is the best bathmat I have ever had. I saw an online recommendation for the mat as a good option for seniors. The mat is non slip and drains well. A couple of things to mention, make sure to rinse the mat before stepping on the beginning, the mat is a loofah and can be a little rough. The other is, after showering, rinse the mat and hang over the edge of tub to dry, every time otherwise it will get moldy (loofa side down). Bleach bath cleaner will clean it if this occurs. I did buy the longer length to butt up to the drain and up the back a little.
