For the sale price (paid under $17.00) this was a great buy. It is made-well, has a beautiful black finish, and generates "hot" water and great flavored coffee. You will need a #4 cone filter when using. My Mr. Coffee didn't produce as hot of water as this coffeemaker; so we're very happy with this coffeemaker. I highly recommend.

simple, easy coffeemaker, no frills. no timer, no on all day led clock. just an on/off coffee pot. you can make good tea in this as well. i recommend buying http://www.walmart.com/ip/Medelco-Inc.-Permanent-Cone-Style-Coffee-Filter/16457619 also with this item. only draw back is the cord is like 2.5 feet. relatively short.

Great coffeemaker for a great price!

I bought this coffeemaker after our Sunbeam went out after 10 years. We wanted a simple, inexpensive, non-programmable maker that did not have an automatic shutoff. I had heard that a cone filter makes better coffee so I really wanted to try it. This was the only coffeemaker that I could find that met every requirement that we had at a price that I was willing to pay. I have to say that I really didn't expect to be as thrilled with it as we are. This thing makes a really good cup of coffee! Easily the best home brewed cup we have ever had (including over friends houses that have really expensive makers). I love that the carafe on this one doesn't drip when you pour like our previous one. The pause and serve also has yet to drip once unlike our previous one. I would 100% recommend this coffeemaker!
