It holds exactly 6! The coldest are on the bottom. If you gill it with warm cans, it can take about 18 hours to cool them. Secret is pull off the bottom and add to top after it gets cool. If you do that you will always have cold ones on bottom ready. Takes the same space as 6 pack stacked on end. Haven't tried it in car yet, but it does include car cord! Great buy! Everything I needed.

I use an all natural seed butter make up remover stick that requires refrigeration. I'm of an age where a tiny nostalgic refrigerator reminiscent of my youth but red, amuses me. It's very effective. It keeps my products cold. It's also a little noisy from the fan so it's across the room from my bed. My products feel better going on cold, by the way.
