Love these bookshelves! I have 3 now and absolutely love them! Literally took me 20 minutes to put together and super easy! I bought one separately to try them and then got a double pack! I wanted an open bookshelf on the sides but didn't want to worry about my books falling off but the bars in the middle of each shelf keep them from falling which I absolutely love! It's steady, and also a good size for us. See the pic with regular water bottle as reference. This has its back supporting parts which are steel material. It seems very safe especially if you have little children at home like me. So far I put all clothing, heavy backpacks, etc on it. For days it's works great. Iater after, I may suggest my family members or friends. BTW, I put it together within 10 mins. I believe they can also look good if you want to make a whole wall with they combined together which is what I am considering now. Great idea for organization.
