My daughter is just about 2 years old and weighs 26 pounds it fits well and something she can grow with I put it on her when we go out to play in the pool it's a decent size kid pool and the water is at least up to her waist standing up, everyone thinks I'm crazy for putting it on her in there, but if she can go under and her body be submerged, then I feel safer and rather be safe than sorry, but when she falls into the pool wearing that the flow automatically turns her around on her back and she's floating on her back, so I definitely stress a lot less while she is wearing this life fest and feel confident being outside and step away not too far for a second definitely a good fit and worth your money
