We got this as stool as a place to sit when changing our baby's diaper because we have the changing pad on a low window seat. It's perfect! It's just padded enough that it's comfy to sit on and it's compact, but not too small. We needed something with a higher weight limit to accommodate my husband and this was perfect. He is almost 300 lbs and says it doesn't feel like this flexes or has any issues when he sits on it. We would highly recommend this from both a style perspective and for function.
