This role of tape was used for metal steps going down into a storm shelter. It gave the steps a nonslip surface for traction when entering during a storm with blowing rain and wet feet. The fluorescent strips helps with visibility, as the shelter is dark. After cleaning the surface well, it's a cut to fit process and placement. I have tested adhesion since placing, no problems. It's a generous amount of tape on the roll. I had plenty left over for another use. Highly recommend
