Using the Allosun EM3082 DVM

It is a well designed piece of test equipment, having good autoranging response. I like the attached test leads which easily stow into the clamshell case. One of the hinges does tend to let go of one of its pivots, but does not interfere with open / close operation.

I have six. Extremely pleased

Portability, rugged case, functionality, ease of use, fits easily in a pocket or glovebox. The case seals so well that its difficult to open and close quickly, because of the double jointed hinges. This allows the lid to swing back 360 degrees behind the meter. I put in a single AAA lithium, non-rechargeable cell, and squeezed in two ( 2mm) insulated alligator clips. The only negatives are the opening / closing and the leads will eventually break from repeated flexing when opening and closing. I'm so pleased with this DMM that I bought six, for gloveboxes, house, and friends.
