it's nice to put on a pair of socks that I don't have to fight to get over my chubby calves. I have tried others in the past and they always were hard to get on and left a pressure ring or became unbearable after a short time. I have had these on now for a couple of days no pain no pressure marks or having to readjust the top band to a more comfortable spot they are staying in place. I might have even gone a size smaller but in the past tried 3 or 4 x only to have to give up wearing them in the summer heat or when my legs would swell and pain would spart pressure spots at either above or below knee. nice to get the leg proportions right for a change. when you have fat calves and ankles you don't need longer socks just slightly wider at the top so that you can get them on without breaking your fingers or wearing them without cutting off circulation. compression socks do no good if you can't get them on and keep them on. it shouldn't take two people to get a pair of socks on legs when you have limited mobility to start with. swear it's time for designers to actually wear the products they make to understand what is possible and what isn't when a product is designed to assist people.
