The clear plastic part of the bag is much thicker than other clear bags I have had in the past. I carry about 20lbs of books in it daily. Also, the sunflower straps are of a better quality then any Walmart backpack I have had in the past. It's a bit pricy BUT definitely worth it for the quality.
