We initially ordered a Medium for our 5 month old, 5lb kitten. When it came, it seemed too snug though the proportions are notably accurate. So we ordered this one and seeing as her surgery is another 3 weeks out, I think she'll fill it in a bit for a perfect fit in the meantime. Materials and stitching are good. Perhaps the Velcro fasten in the back could be narrower so as to be more flexible but better it's secure than she be able to easily unattach it and it's not terrible. You can see in the pics how much space is at her arms and I'm not sure if wearing it for a longer period will lead to us having to somehow fit it better for her or not, particularly as she will have grown a bit. The fact she acts like it's restricting her despite it clearly not doing so will only help ensure she doesn't accidentally injure herself while healing.
