It's really weird. It's advertised as linen but it absolutely does not feel anything like linen. It feels synthetic? Maybe plastic-y? I'm not sure exactly how to describe it, it's just really strange. I washed it to see if that would help/change anything, it didn't. I did iron it, using high heat just like I would for linen and it took the high heat just fine. So maybe it's some kind of linen I've never seen or heard of? It fits true to size, the price was great, it washes well. If your not crazy like me and don't mind a really weird feeling ‘linen', go for it.
