Actually purchase two swings total. The first swing arrived. Upon opening the box I noticed that one of the boards going across the seat near the knee area, was cracked all the way across. It was probably cracked when the screw was put in. The finish was on top of the wooden %26 screw. The first swing was returned. I did receive a full refund that took about 2 weeks. The second swing arrived with no issues. Both swings were finished on the visual areas only. The backside and underside was not finished. Fabrication is fairly easy. It's not a 20-minute job, it's more like 30 to 45 minutes. The second person is required, only to hold the back portions as the other attaches it to the seat. For the price of a strong $100, you get what you pay for. I expect this swing to last maybe 3 years. If you want a short-term swing. This is it. It is comfortable. If you want one that's going to last longer, spend more money. Yes I am a adult farm boy, so I do know how things like this should be.
