These dishes are absolutely stunning. They are heavy, do not chip easy. They are the most beautiful lilac that I have ever seen. I believe they look timeless. They remind me of old dishes. It seems like older dishes we're a bit thicker and heavier. These dishes also stacked very well. We use them daily. But they can be used to serve in a fancy way as well.
