Exactly what I wanted.. no frills fast coffee

Reading all the reviews with sludge problems .. water temp problems.. I have to say that I knew I was going to need filters for normal coffe grounds because of how coarse the screen was . The customer service recommended filters so as to not have sludge. Well...it just so happens for whatever reason my purchase on this model already had neatly tucked away in the water reservoir a package of paper filters.. Also when it comes to temperature I used 2 different methods of temperature measurements and both registered only at 165F . Not 185 or the other temps they were advertising. Back to the grounds for a 14oz cup of coffee. The give you an alleged 10Gr scoop which I thought was to much because if you follow the book .. there is NO way I would put 30Gr of grounds in this machine for 1 cup. For me though it was 1/2 or 5 grams max.. The 5 minute timer is a nice feature to automatically turn off.. and for those of you wondering I actually took the time to "time" my machine and it came in at 3 minutes from start to finish to fill a 14oz cup of coffee at 165F. I am quite excited to try out the Kpod and bean grinder for this unit after my next trip to the store. But for now this is doing exactly what I wanted without waiting for a traditional coffee pot to fill (20 minutes). It's a great machine for us simple but impatient folks like me.

Amazing product except coffee grinding part and I don't use inbuilt grinder anymore . I manually grind coffee beans and it works flawlessly, Easy to clean and compact looking . Worth every penny and will recommend this to everyone but you need to know how to use it .

Best single use coffee pot that is easy to use

First of all it looks nice on my counter and does not take up a lot of room, it shows good quality, not cheap looking at all. It is so easy to use, I did not even need to read the directions. I have been looking for a single cup coffee maker where I can use coffee beans. Ever since my daughter in law worked at Starbucks and got free coffee beans every month and she gave them to me, I am for sure all for drinking coffee from beans just grounded. But, I can also use the regular k-cup as well with this machine. Not everyone likes strong coffee. And for those who like really weak coffee, just put some ground coffee in that is not to much for them. I am so happy with this machine.
