these are built well. i know they cost a bit more than some others, but i wanted the option to increase the weights. i feel like it's worth the money, for sure. the one pound sand weights aren't too hard to remove or add, so the set grows with you/me. one set with 5 options. my problem is that I'm recovering from cancer and got quite thin. the weights are too big for my wrists, lol. once I'm in position for an exercise, it's fine though, and i can do my mini workouts with no problems. I'm happy with these and glad i chose them.
