So I have been on a journey with this tv purchase. I bought this Dec 2nd, delivered 3rd and started a return Dec 4th but today Dec 5th I’m happy to say it’s not going back yet unless something dramatic happens lol. Shout out to Deandre my delivery. Thanks for carefully delivering it to my home here Alameda California. I appreciate. I dealt with a lot of display issues , it may help someone and probably change your mind about returning yours. I was never concern about the delivery. I have never gotten any broken electronics from Walmart but I was more worried about the quality of the tv. When I set it up, it was so bad that I started the return immediately. And beware if you buy this particular one, Walmart does not offer any type of return method except in store. I called everyone I could even supervisor but they told me that’s the only option so bear that in mind. It’s a heavy tv compare to the others . I tried everything to get it to be less blurred, washed out and bad picture quality but I couldn’t figure it out. I went ahead to buy another tv the crystal UHD U7900F. Great tv but now I have two TV’s to compare. The QLED and Crystal UHD both 65”. Out of the box, the UHD was so pleasing bc it had natural colors and nothing dramatic. But I had a feeling the Qled could be better so I didn’t stop. I decided to mess with the settings of both tvs and in the process I hit a sweet spot for them. But this review is for QLED. If you are struggling with this tv especially the display. Try this settings and see if it improves. First it performs well in darker rooms. Never use any picture mode that is not MOVIE mode and set color tone to Warm 1. Navigate to the expert settings, and turn picture clarity to custom. Then if yours have blur reduction,move it to 10, if it’s judder reduction, move to 8-10. Brightness to 40-45, contrast 40-45, Sharpness 10, leave gamma don’t touch if you are in HDR but add 1 to shadow detail but 0 in SDR, . Go back in expert setting and turn noise reduction off, contrast enhancer off, adaptive picture off, digital clean view,LED clear motion off. Go to power and energy saving and turn every thing there off. I wish I could keep the Crystal UHD U7900F but I need my money back. It’s a great tv especially if you want natural colors bc this Qled has a little more saturation bc of its Ai enhancement. So if you are looking into both, they are very similar only the Qled is a little better in picture quality bc of the ai element.

nice upgrade, easy on the wallet

I upgraded to this QLED from a standard UHD. I like the simple setup and registration to Samsung. I am very happy with the quality of the picture and as for the TV speaker sound, I use a Q-symphony soundbar but they did sound good when I did hear them. The remote control is smaller and solar charged or type-c usb charged, so no need for batteries. I went through everything in the e- manual on the TV itself and it's very easily understood. Now I don't play games, I watch TV shows and movies so how it is with gaming, I don't know. I know that there are other screen types and this one suits my needs and like I said before, I watch TV shows and movies. So I'm enjoying my viewing needs on a great quality yet lower priced unit. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade without going crazy on your wallet.

I am a long time owner of many Samsung TV's over many years. This one is very high tech and the picture and sound is superb. I did find it cumbersone to get set up, expecially connecting my Tivo cable box to HDMI and my digital optical Sony soundbar and my Aux 3.5 MM wireless headset (both are pre BlueTooth). Short story on connecting the Tivo, I needed to upgrade the HDMI cable to high speed HDMI and on the two audio outputs, I needed to install a BlueTooth receiver and digital optical/Aux converter. Doing that was an exercise that tests ones techno abilities. It took a few steps through the settings to pair and connect the Bluetooth device, set up the TV to auto-connect to the last BlueTooth device upon startup and lastly to set up the TV to allow mult-audio output. Now that is all done and working, Tivo works good and TV speakers, headset and soundbar all work independently (either on or off, or multi on with each set to its own volume level). Very nice. I do wish Samsung did not eliminate the digital optical out port and that this could have been set up with more guidance %26 ease vs hunting down the various set up functions.
