I ordered the solid black vest in size L. It is a different vest than pictured; it has 5 buttons, not 3! My son (pictured) is 6' tall with a 39" chest and the size large is a little big on him. It is cinched quite a bit in the back. I'll exchange it for size Medium and report once we get it. It feels good and looks good and matches his plain black pants pretty well! Nothing unusual about it. (It is NOT shiny in front, although the picture sort of makes it look like it is.)
