Great for sushi

The AROM Rice Cooker does a solid job with sushi rice. It cooks rice evenly, holds moisture well, and the nonstick ceramic pot makes it easy to rinse and mix the rice with vinegar without sticking or breaking the grains. The digital controls help keep the texture consistent, which is important for sushi. Just make sure to use short-grain Japanese rice and follow proper water ratios, and let it rest after cooking before seasoning. For home sushi, it works very well. rubber sealed lid keep the pressure even while cooking so rice cooked very quickly and evenly.

Convenient, practical and easy to use.

Easy to use, I use it mainly to cook jasmine rice but you can still cook meats, stews, oats, steam vegetables, etc. In my opinion I prefer to use it for rice and make meats in pots, pans or in the oven. But if you don’t have much space in the kitchen, it’s compact and you can do everything in it. I love that it has a reservoir to collect water vapor and does not make a mess.

I wish I had bought one of these sooner!

I have only used this once, but I can say I love it already! I cooked rice in the bottom and steamed veggies in the top. The veggies didn’t need to cook as long as the rice, so I removed them when they were tender. Then I stirred the rice, closed the lid and let it finish cooking. I was following an online recipe for cheesy broccoli and rice, and it turned out perfectly. The recipe told me to cook the broccoli separately on the stove, but I chose to use the steam basket. I am so glad I did! There are so many recipes and other uses for this. It will be a perfect size to cook smaller portions when it is just the hubby and I! Bonus: the rice didn’t stick like it does in my Instant Pot.
