Great helper for an old guy or gal!

This bed rail was simple to assemble and install. I had no need for the storage compartment, so I did not install it. I didn't feel up to pulling off the mattress to install the safety strap, so I did not use that, either. In any case, your body weight on the mattress keeps the Bed Rail firmly in place.

I am disabled and cannot lift, I assembled this in less than 30 minutes sitting in chair facing bed. (be sure you dont push adjusting buttons too far in 1 " increments),I can't connect the strap underneath but do not need it. I use it to get from walker to bed and reposition in bed, it is solid. i weigh almost 300 lbs and it cannot move. it's like a cane, walker. the handy pouch was easy to install with 2 clips and 2 velcro straps.

Great help to senior with knee problems!

Nice Safety Feature! I got this for my elderly parent to help her with getting out of bed and prevent falls. It does require assembly but the included directions are somewhat easy to understand and it simply snaps together. It seems to be pretty sturdy and can support you well when leaning on it to stand up out of bed. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone with knee problems or even if you just want something secure to grab onto, to help you get on your feet in the morning.
