Pretty awesome for a 9 and 7 year old and they find things all the time. Get your kids involved in this kind of stuff at your parks and the beach, found pocket change all 5 times we took them to the play grounds and camp dites, Ias an adult enjoy it as well. Yes I have two grand boys so I purchased two of them but I couldnt wait for Christmas and the price was unbeatable plus I got free shipping so buy now dont wait
