I love this case. The feel in hand is extremely satisfying. You get a good feeling every time you are about to touch the case. The kickstand is not exactly what I expected but still very, very good! The combined weight of the pixel 8 and the case makes the kickstand unusable in portrait orientation. Unfortunately, I chose this case because I thought the kickstand would work in portrait (vertical). Related to that is the balance with the kickstand in horizontal (landscape) orientation. The balance is near the edge - very stable on solid and even surfaces. Unfortunately, it will not hold on a soft surface. Nevertheless, there is a clear threshold feel when the kickstand latches open fully. In addition, the spring snaps the kickstand back in when you close it. So the case is not what I expected, but very good in other ways.
