Reasonable price, compact and nice looking

We need a replacement for our recently deceased toaster oven with a convection setting and didn't want something large or expensive. The most important function was making toast, with the added bonus of using as a small oven when necessary (we have double ovens, one with a convection setting). We like the compact size (a bit smaller than what it is replacing), simple controls and clean lines. We have not yet used the air fryer setting, but per the instruction booklet, air fry setting appears to be best used for frozen foods (which we don't cook very often). It will be interesting to compare how the air fryer setting compares to the convection setting of our old toaster oven the next time we make a small batch of frozen french fries.

I have had Black and Decker before and know it to be a good brand . The last time I bought a toaster oven Black and Decker was not available (at Big Lots) and that brand lasted only 2 or 3 years. This toaster oven has some features that are better, like the removable crumb tray and the timer for toast.

BEST TOASTER OVEN E V E R !!!

This replaces my previous B%26D Toaster Oven which I had for years! It actually got so filthy due to my neglect, that I didn't want to clean it and when I did spend accumulated hours on it, it still wasn't clean enough for my scrutiny. THIS ONE is near identical except that is has Air Fryer "technology" ... which to be honest, I don't have much faith in for that. This one also has just a tad bit smaller footprint, which IS GREAT for my very small kitchen counter space. AND I am going to give the air fryer "tech" a shot %26 just try some simple hash brown bites I found on the internet. It might be fine for the smaller things like that. BUT, no expectations here. Nothing fancy about it, but THAT'S WHY I LOVE IT, and IT IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED - just simply to toast, bake a cookie or two (portion control) %26 a slice of pizza now %26 then. I LOVE IT! It's all about simplicity to me these days and I'm sick of tech-ie stuff that takes LOTS OF TIME to figure out, and you're not likely to utilize anyway, so why pay for it! THIS IS PERFECT. This one also has (to me) what I call a BONUS feature ... the drip tray thing you slide right under the rack for toasting!!! WHAT A GREAT IDEA. If the other one did that - I never knew that's what it was for ... LOVE THAT for easier cleaning. THANKS B%26D. AND ... it was $20 LESS THAN WHAT I PAID BACK """""YEARS AGO"""" ... AND THAT'S A DEAL!!! If you like SIMPLE, CLEAN LINES, EASY CLEAN-UP .... this is IT!
