I ordered this item because I my original item was sold out. I was very skeptical at first but this umbrella base really does its job. Nice and sturdy, good quality and easy to set up. Only downside for us is the size of the base on the ground but we found a perfect spot to place it so this issue was solved fast for us. Overall, I was positively surprised.

Perfect and not one regret.! Used pea pebbles instead of sand because the pebbles are cleaner. Highly recommended for the quality of the product's material and functional use as designed to be a free standalone base. 220 lbs will work for a cantilever umbrella or 9 inch market umbrella if you add a rubber gasket around the pole to take up the slack for the smaller pole size of a 9 inch umbrella.
